Latest Update: Shortlisted Candidates – PhD Admissions 2025
The PhD admission written examination for 2025 was successfully conducted on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in Kozhikode. Evaluation of the written papers is now complete.
The following candidates shortlisted for the interview for admission to the PhD programme. As per the admission criteria, NBHM Doctoral Scholarship awardees are directly shortlisted for the interview.
The interview is scheduled for July 25, 2025 at Kerala School of Mathematics (KSoM). The following candidates are invited for the interview:

Applications Closed
The deadline for PhD admissions (August 2025 intake) at Kerala School of Mathematics was June 15, 2025. We thank all applicants for their interest.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email with further instructions. The selection exam is scheduled for July 13, 2025 (NBHM awardees are exempt). Final interviews will be conducted at KSoM.
Eligibility
Applicants must have a minimum second-class degree in one of the following:
- Master’s in Mathematical or Physical Sciences
- B.E./B.Tech. in a relevant field
Final-year students were allowed to apply provisionally, subject to degree completion by July 31, 2025.
Qualifying Exams
Valid qualification in one of the following was required:
- NBHM Doctoral Scholarship
- CSIR-UGC NET (JRF)
- DST-INSPIRE Fellowship
