Governing Board

The Governing Board of the Kerala School of Mathematics will be constituted shortly.

KSoM currently uses a temporary logo, pending endorsement of an official logo by the institute. A description of the current logo follows below.

This logo for the "Kerala School of Mathematics" is a deeply symbolic design in a refined deep blue, evoking stability, knowledge, and trust.

At the center lies the abbreviation "KSoM", framed within a circular disk that anchors the institution’s identity with clarity and elegance.

Surrounding it is a distinctive fractal boundary—a self-repeating, intricate pattern that reflects the infinite depth and complexity of mathematics. Along this edge, the full name "KERALA SCHOOL OF MATHEMATICS" curves gracefully, merging seamlessly into the fractal, reinforcing the unity of form and meaning.

Within the inner disk, symbolic mathematical forms enrich the design:

• Geometric Figures: A tetrahedron and a torus capture ideas of foundational structure and interconnectedness, representing both classical geometry and modern abstraction.

• Madhava Series: Subtle visual cues allude to the Madhava series, celebrating Kerala’s historic contributions to mathematics and the spirit of infinite inquiry.

Together, these elements create a logo that embodies intellectual depth, historical reverence, and a forward-looking vision—honoring KSoM’s dedication to discovery and excellence in mathematical thought.
